Established in Richmond in 2002, Mens Body Works brings men’s hair, grooming, skin, massage and day-spa experiences together under one roof.

Step inside from busy Bridge Road and leave the outside world behind. Our space combines the comfort of a private first-class lounge with the calm of a wellness retreat—all designed around the needs, physiology and lifestyle of today’s man.

Come in for a quick haircut, beard trim or body groom. Stay longer for a facial, massage, Japanese Head Spa, HydroSpa or complete day-spa experience. Whether you have twenty minutes or an entire afternoon, our purpose is simple: to help you look better, feel better and take some well-earned time for yourself.

Before You Visit

Consistency, professionalism and respect are central to the Mens Body Works experience. The following information helps us protect your appointment time, maintain the tranquillity of the spa and provide every client with the standard of service they deserve.

Appointments

Appointments may be made online, by telephone or in person. Same-day appointments are always welcome when availability permits, although advance booking is recommended for evenings, Saturdays and longer spa treatments.

A 50% deposit is required for Saturday appointments exceeding two hours. Your deposit will be credited towards the cost of your treatments on the day.

If you cancel or reschedule within the required notice period, your deposit may be transferred to another appointment or refunded. Deposits will be forfeited for late cancellations or missed appointments.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans occasionally change. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please provide:

• At least 24 hours’ notice for an individual appointment

• At least 72 hours’ notice for a group booking of two or more people

Late cancellations and missed appointments significantly affect our therapists and other clients waiting for an appointment. Deposits, prepayments or gift vouchers may therefore be forfeited when the required notice is not provided.

Arriving for Your Appointment

We recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes before your appointment, particularly if this is your first visit or you have booked a spa, body or skin treatment.

This gives you time to check in, complete any required consultation forms, change if necessary and begin your experience without feeling rushed.

If you are running late, please telephone us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate you; however, your treatment may need to be shortened so the following client is not delayed.

Your safety matters more than the clock—please never speed or take risks trying to reach us on time.

Respecting the Mens Body Works Environment

Our spa is a place to step away from noise, pressure and daily demands. We kindly ask all clients to help us preserve that atmosphere.

• Please switch mobile phones to silent.

• Keep conversations at a considerate volume throughout the spa.

• Photography or recording requires permission.

• Respectful conduct towards our team and other clients is required at all times.

• Inappropriate, threatening or sexualised comments, requests or behaviour will result in the treatment ending immediately.

• Your own underwear or the disposable underwear provided must be worn during massage, body and water treatments.

• Professional draping is used throughout appropriate treatments to protect your privacy and comfort.

Gift Vouchers

Give someone the opportunity to stop, reset and be looked after.

Mens Body Works gift vouchers are available for our in-house treatments and allow the recipient to arrange an appointment at a time that suits them.

Our gift vouchers:

• Have no expiry date

• Must be mentioned when booking

• Must be presented or verified when redeeming

• May be redeemed for in-house services but not retail products

• Are available for redemption Tuesday to Friday

• Cannot be redeemed on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays

• Are issued to the nominated recipient and are not transferable

• Cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to the recipient

• Cannot be divided between two or more people on the same day

Our standard cancellation policy also applies to gift-voucher appointments. A late cancellation or failure to attend may result in the voucher being forfeited.

Please review all gift-voucher conditions before purchasing or making a booking.

Women Welcome Wednesday

Mens Body Works was created around men and their grooming and wellness needs—but every Wednesday, we also warmly welcome women.

Bring your partner, family member or female friend and share part of your experience, or treat her to some dedicated time of her own.

Women are welcome on Wednesdays by appointment.

Parking

Two-hour public parking is available along Bridge Road and in surrounding streets. Parking restrictions and meter times vary, so please check the signage carefully.
Coles also offer two hour free parking.

If you have booked a longer spa experience, allow additional time to find suitable parking or contact us before your visit for local parking suggestions.

After-hours appointments may be available by prior arrangement. We are closed most public holidays and the first 10 days of January.
